Melinda Carrion

My name is Melinda Carrion, and I proudly wear multiple hats as the Head of Campus Recruitment, DE&I, Events and Partnerships at Genspark. I believe that when you're truly passionate about your job, you naturally find yourself wearing more hats than most are willing to admit! A Bit About My Role: In my current role at Genspark, I have the privilege of leading our campus recruitment efforts, driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and fostering valuable partnerships. I work for an incredible company dedicated to opening pathways to the tech industry for underrepresented groups and underserved communities. It's a mission I'm deeply passionate about, and I'm grateful to be a part of such an impactful organization. A Peek into My World: I'm based in the US and when I'm not immersed in the world of sales and DE&I, you'll find me enjoying life's simple pleasures. I have a soft spot for my adorable shih tzus, a love for sports, especially softball and cornhole, a passion for cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and an insatiable wanderlust for exploring new places. Family is at the core of who I am, and I take immense pride in my Spanish heritage. Why I'm Here: I'm eager to learn from each of you, exchange ideas, and work together to advance our shared goals.
