Database Administrator I
The Database Administrator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and optimization of our customers organizational database systems. The primary focus of this role is on Microsoft SQL Server, with additional opportunities to apply your expertise in MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. You will collaborate closely with our development and IT teams to design, implement, and maintain efficient database structures, contributing to the overall success of our technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in database administration, a keen understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, and the flexibility to adapt to other database platforms as needed. The main responsibilities will encompass database performance tuning, security enforcement, backup and recovery planning, and proactive issue resolution. Other optional skills in alternative database systems will be leveraged to provide comprehensive support and expertise across various technologies.
